Sidney Chahonyo - Board Chair (Survivor)
Sidney Chahonyo has over 13 years of experience in the public, private and social impact sectors specifically related to banking, finance, HR, agribusiness and cancer related activities.
He has a Bachelor’s Degree in International Business & Marketing from Edith Cowan University. As a childhood cancer survivor, Sidney is committed to improving the experience of children battling the disease especially in rural areas. He is passionate about creating lasting social impact with regard to holistic cancer care in Kenya.
He is determined to continue being part of the growing revolution in cancer treatment by creating the environment needed to provide accessible and affordable cancer treatment through H4CK.
Caroline Murugi Kaburu - Vice Chair
Caroline Murugi Kaburu is a career banker. Her son was diagnosed with Non-hodgkin's lymphoma at the age of 3.5 years and was a beneficiary of HCK’s NHIF support program.
She brings both her corporate experience and her wealth of knowledge as a caregiver to the HCK board and is passionate about making a difference to families battling cancer
Rose N. Wandaka - Board Treasurer
Bachelor of commerce-finance option, CPA(k). Currently working as a consultant in audit and accounting
She is passionate about charity work and children. That is why she has dedicated her time and efforts towards giving hope by supporting children fighting cancer.
Tom is a Patient advocate with 4 years experience on cancer control programs through the Patient Navigation Program. He is passionate about positive societal change through research and data. He was inspired by the the work of HCK in alleviating childhood cancer burden through the NHIF program. He is affiliated with KNH, KENCO and American Cancer Society.
Is the CEO of All & Sundry Limited, a Bespoke design house specialising in Graphic design, branding, custom gifting solutions and custom invitations for weddings and corporate events. The company was founded 17 years ago and has grown to have a reputation in excellence.
She holds a BA in Fine Art from Kenyatta University and has participated in several entrepreneurial workshops and projects like the Goldman Sachs 10,000 women program; and is passionate about all things design, mentorship, and excellence. Additionally, Kanyi is a certified Competent Communicator from Toastmasters International.
Being first an artist, Kanyi is passionate about working with artists and nurturing talent. A calling that has seen her work with HCK in art therapy for children with cancer.
